“American Idol” Will Be the One with Tommy Hilfiger

As a rock idol since 1970s, “American Idol” judge Steven Tyler has his own opinion of the standard of being a perfect idol. “The music world needs more idols with Tommy Hilfiger Clothes,” the new judge told “People” magazine in his interview.

Referring to his own process to become an idol, Tyler said “one should pay enough price for being any kind of idol”. It requires talent and opportunities. On talking of this way to find a new music idol, the senior musician mentioned it would be more fun: “All the singers are equal when they come to this stage. They have the same chance to be another music idol. You think you’re ready and you come to us. We give you the most honest approval. But that also means a tough competition is inevitable: “I’m not saying the process of torturing those contestants is fun. But it will be necessary for them to achieve their dreams. So those guys should be brave enough to take that bitterness. That’s why I suggest them to put on Tommy Hilfiger Sweater. A real rocker will take any challenges in their music world with the overwhelming courage Tommy Hilfiger style could bring.”
